Mercedes 新一代 FBS4 防盜系統
賓士在新一代的車系 (2014 以降) 使用了全新的防盜系統,稱為 FBS4, 這一代的防盜系統的最大特色是採用與前一代的 FBS3 完全不同的架構,跟以前 FBS3 需要由德國原廠製作並寄發到賓士授權保養廠不同,賓士授權保養廠可以訂購空白鑰匙 (Blank key) ,並使用 Xentry 及一組特殊線上帳號來透過車輛的 EIS 進行新鑰匙的製作,截至目前為止,並沒有任何一套社外的裝備可以製作 FBS4 系統的鑰匙,
FBS4 的優點是更新的防盜技術,以及減少鑰匙遺失重新訂購的的等待時間.(FBS3 需要 1 個月左右,而 FBS4 只要經銷商有鑰匙庫存, 基本上可以在數小時內完成) 而沒有鑰匙想要偷走新一代的賓士幾乎是不可能的任務(竊盜險好像可以省下來了~ XD) ,但缺點是 FBS4鑰匙的價格也比前一代提升不少,建議車友要好好保管鑰匙這樣~

Starfinder / WIS 線路圖代碼及意義
在 Starfinder 或 WIS 的線路圖裡,常常會看到一些以英文開頭的代碼縮寫,或是使用 Xentry / DAS 診斷時,在診斷電腦裡面的結果也會常常出現這些縮寫的代號,而它們所代表的意義如下:
N : 電腦 (Control unit)
K: 繼電器 (Relay)
B: 傳感器 (Sensor)
F: 保險絲 (Fuse)
M: 電機 (Motor)
R: 電阻 (Resistor)
S: 接頭 (Connector)
W: 接地 (Ground)
Y: 電磁閥 (Solenoid valve)
Z: 焊點 (Solder joint)
如 Y10/2 指的是電磁閥 而N3/2 指的就是電腦控制模組.

DTS Monaco (超級工程師他爹) 介紹
DTS Monaco 是德國 Softing 公司所開發出來的一套全方面診斷軟體. 重點是繼 VEDIAMO 後, 賓士原廠已經採用 DTS Monaco 作為車輛開發使用.
VEDIAMO (俗稱超級工程師版) 使用上還算 OK(至少對廳長而言算是直觀的) , 但缺點是一次只能連結一個模組,而且診斷時必須先跳出介面使用 Xentry 來處理診斷的部分.但 DTS Monaco 可以做到同時編程並進行診斷,還可以一鍵掃描並保存全車數據等等～

正邪對立， 搏鬥終身 － VVDI 賓士 BGA 鑰匙匹配儀
最近有車友因為鑰匙意外遺失,而打算要去配一把新的鑰匙,回原廠確認後,報價約 21000(含非總代理車輛的設定費)且沒有折扣,(倒是中華賓士很佛心的報了應援價 16000 元)~車友上網查了一下,發現有外面的鎖店已經可以配置新一代車系的 BGA 鑰匙 (W204 / W212 .. ) 而且不需要拆下電子鎖頭 (EIS)這樣~
廳長就有點疑惑拉~因為 W204 所搭載的駕駛認證系統 (DAS3, Driver Authentication System) 是由 電子鎖頭(EIS),引擎監理電腦(ECM) 以及變速箱電腦(VGS) 所組合而成的無敵防禦網,當電子鎖頭讀取鑰匙時,除了在 EIS 比對是否為有效鑰匙,同時還會透過 CAN 網讓引擎電腦和變速箱電腦進行比對,因此即使把電子鎖頭拆下來暴力破解,(W203 等舊型車系均使用這種方式),也無法啟動引擎和變速箱,
不過,對岸同胞的逆向工程能力真的不容小覷,有道是昨日山寨,今日山大王. 一套全新的產品 - ~VVDI 鑰匙匹配儀就這樣問世了~
這套設備厲害的地方在於它完全使用原廠建立新鑰匙的方式,所以不需拆下個別模組進行破解,(變速箱電腦也很難拆就是..),而採用讀取現有鑰匙以及電子鎖頭 (EIS) 的資訊,採用分散式運算(俗稱雲端)暴力破解法來得到原廠的 16 位 hash 值,然後寫入到空白鑰匙,這個方式所製作出來的鑰匙與原廠無異,用起來也毫無差別啊...

拾穗集 - W220 EIS 電子鎖頭故障 查修記錄 (車友 劉湘怡 提供)
在 W220 車系已經達到神之領域的車友劉湘怡,這次查修 W220 EIS 電子鎖頭無作用的整個過程.其故障現象是由於移除電瓶充電再裝回去後,出現了車輛無法認證鑰匙,無法解除防盜系統 (ATA) 以及無法轉動電子鎖頭 (EIS) 的現象. 最後僅花費零件費用 3元的修復～

自己的引擎自己救 - M271 引擎技術資料讀書心得及案例紀錄
話說最近在各大論壇上紛紛看到 M271 KE/ DE (EVO) 系引擎的正時齒輪 (凸輪軸調整器) 紛紛壯烈犧牲,有些里程數才6萬多公里,實在是令廳長捏一把冷汗,不過愛到卡慘死,只好硬著頭皮開始 K M271 相關的技術資料,靜待落鏈的那天來臨~

美規 E class 特殊配備 - PremAir
從2006 年起, 輸出到美國加州的以及其他數個環保規範嚴格州的 Mercedes E class (W211, W212) 上都安裝了一樣特殊的配備,稱之為 PremAir, PremAir 是一種藉由在水箱散熱片上的特殊塗層,來達到轉換 NOX (氮化合物,汽車廢氣的一種物質)中的臭氧成為氧氣,而 PremAir sensor 就是用來記錄 PremAir 塗層的工作效率並且由引擎控制單元 (ME) 將資料紀錄在記憶體中.
也因此在這些配備有 PremAir 的 E class 上,萬一 sensor 故障導致引擎控制單元無法取得 PremAir 工作狀況,引擎故障燈就會亮起,除非更換新的 PremAir sensor. 這個 sensor 是用卡榫固定並用 PU 膠黏在水箱上,拆下時就會被破壞,更換新品時也必須重上 PU 膠.
也因此在這些配備有 PremAir 的 E class 上,萬一 sensor 故障導致引擎控制單元無法取得 PremAir 工作狀況,引擎故障燈就會亮起,除非更換新的 PremAir sensor. 這個 sensor 是用卡榫固定並用 PU 膠黏在水箱上,拆下時就會被破壞,更換新品時也必須重上 PU 膠.

M271 引擎的定時炸彈 - 正時鏈條與鍊輪磨損
M271 引擎 被普遍使用於賓士 200 / 230 K 系引擎,前期為 M271 (機械增壓-M271DE18ML ) 後期為 M271 - EVO (渦輪增壓-M271DE18AL),
正時鏈條設計的產生原本是要改善正時皮帶因車主未注意定期更換導致的引擎損毀,此設計理論上應該與引擎同壽,亦即在正確的保養下應該永遠不需更換引擎的正時鏈條才對.
但沒想到這個被廣泛使用的 M271 引擎竟然有個致命的問題 - 正時鏈條會磨損鍊輪導致引擎正時錯誤.

W204 W212 蒸發器自動乾燥功能
蒸發器是冷氣系統一個相當重要的元件,台灣天氣陰濕多雨,如果車輛又常停置戶外,
那麼冷氣系統很容易產生異味,而這個異味來源除了車內內裝以外,
最有可能的就是蒸發器上面已經長滿了各種黴菌,透過空調系統吹出來了(噁)

COMAND NTG 4.0 與 NTG 4.5 的主要差異
2012 年式的 Mercedes Benz 新一代車系, 開始配置了 NTG 4.5 (New Telematic Generation)
廳長在這邊整理了一些資訊,給車友們參考 :)
NTG 4 與 NTG 4.5 的主要差異有以下幾項(功能面):

NTG4 COMAND DVD 重置區碼變更次數的 (RESET)
警告:
使用工程模式修改 COMAND 參數有其風險,若因參考本文內容所進行的任何操作導致故障,
需自行負起相關及衍生責任.
美規 W204 有選配 COMAND APS 的車友,不知有沒有試過在車上播放 DVD 呢? :)
NTG4 的 COMAND APS, 可以在工程模式中更改 DVD 區碼,以符合台灣區的需要,
雖然說近來的 DVD 已經很少有區碼的限制,但有時難免會有 DVD 區碼不符的困擾
在 COMAND APS 的工程模式選單中,原廠只提供了 5 次的區碼更改機會,
若修改超過五次則會鎖定在最後一次設定的區碼, 但若還是想變更要怎麼辦呢? :)
請依以下方式
1.在進入 工程模式後 (請參考咖啡廳內過期雜誌: 如何進入 COMAND 工程模式)
2.按下 "掛斷" + "＃" + "*"
即可 reset DVD 區碼的重置次數

從 COMAND ONLINE 的連線 LOG, 可以確定所有的 COMAND ONLINE 必須透過 MB 的 VPN

Mercedes Benz USA Technical Training (賓士美國 線上技術訓練資料庫)
賓士美國分公司提供了一些賓士車種的 技術資料光碟給車主下載,但這並不包括目前最新的車種世代,如 W204 / W212 / W221 等等
但其中很多知識是非常有用的, 例如 CAN BUS 與防盜系統原理等等; 賓士的造車技術與科技是
很多車廠學習的對象,也佔有市場的領導地位;
